Lake Tulloch Reservoir is back in the Public Comments; A Resolution approving an application to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for grant funds from FY 2009 Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund; Discussion and possible action for consideration for Federal Emergency Management Agency to adopt State Department of Water Resources Awareness Floodplain areas into the National Flood Insurance Program regulated floodplains; A Public Hearing on the Planned Development Permit for Norried Family Properties, Llp; Board of Equalization Quarterly Hearings and more. Angels Camp, CA....The City of Angels Camp City Council will hold a joint workshop meeting this Tuesday, September 16th, then their regular meeting this Tuesday, September 16th. Starting at 5pm will be a City Council/Traffic Circulation Committee Workshop to discuss Hwy 4/49 Intersection Alternatives. Regular meeting to follow at 6pm. They will then hold a Public Hearing for consideration of a Community Development Technical Assistance Block Grant Application; Approve Resolution item for the submission of a CDBG application for a downtown business recruitment plan/style guide; The General Plan will also be discussed; A Resolution accepting a Public Easement for the Murphys Grade Road Waterline Project and more. Frogtown, CA...The Fair Board as expected made some adjustments to the plans for the 2009 Calaveras County Fair and Frog Jumping Jubilee. The board and management have received quite a bit of feedback and suggestions from the community meeting last month on what changes the community would like to see. The main and most visible changes for attendees will be a renewed focus on the arena events with Jr. Bull Riding being added. The Rodeo, Horse Events and more will be showcased. The Fair will also move away from a traditional Headliner music act on Saturday Night. Based on Community Feedback this seemed one area where costs could be saved and shifted to enhancing events in the arena. The schedule will also return to a Thursday - Sunday schedule. Margot was born on April 19, 1932 in Berkeley, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold (Tommy) and Margaret Thomson. Beloved wife of 56 years to John Pratt. Loving mother to Bill (Sherry), Terry (Mark), Steve (Laura) and Tom. Devoted Grandmother of 5; Rochelle, Casey, Shawna, Lindsey and Christopher. Ebbetts Pass Veteran's Memorial District Holds Ground Breaking Ceremony Today in Honor of 9/11

Murphys, CA.....The Ebbetts Pass Veteran's Memorial District held a ground breaking ceremony today at Murphys Community Park. The 5 members of the board are having a new Veteran's Memorial constructed by Ryan Van Cleave of ETCH. Ryan was on hand with the dedication. Ryan's work features Architectural Concrete Coloring and Design, as well as pre-cast handcrafted benches and state of the art LED lighting. While the first phase of the memorial is being constructed, Lazar Engraved Bricks will be promoted and sold for....
