Arnold, CA...Caltrans has chin controls in effect on Hwy 4 from Cottage Springs on up and on Hwy 88 chain controls are in effect from 4 miles east of Hams Station. No controls in effect on Hwy 108 at this time. Drive safe out there....

Sonora, CA ..Kevin Boehmer who is already in custody will probably face elevated charges as his three month old daughter has passed away. On 12-11-12 at 2217 hours, the 3 month old child was pronounced dead by doctors at Oakland Children’s Hospital... |

Sonora, CA...On the 6th of December 2012, at approx. 11:49 am, the Sonora Police Department received a report of a subject with a possible rifle shooting behind Sonora Elementary School. The subject was described as wearing a camouflage jacket, with some type of hat. Sonora, CA...On December 3rd at approx. 6:51 pm, Officers from the Sonora Police Department responded to an apartment complex located on the 200 block of Greenley Rd., regarding an assault. When officers arrived, they contacted the victim Laura Mansfield, 22 of Sonora, and several witnesses. Mansfield and witnesses related that Mansfield had gone to an apartment to retrieve a pair of socks from a female subject.
