Groveland, CA...Earlier this morning a calf was struck and killed on Hwy 120 near Packard Canyon Road. The calf's mother is still in the roadway and keeps coming back to her calf. Let's be careful out there....

Kennedy Meadows, CA...Due to the incoming storm, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is expected to close Sonora Pass (State Route 108) at Kennedy Meadows today at noon. Caltrans will reopen the pass once weather permits and crews make the necessary repairs to the roads. For the latest road condition information, the radio may be tuned to the Caltrans Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) at 530 AM, 1610 AM or 1670 AM or ....

Sonora, CA....Crews are working a residential structure fire on Alpine Lane. There are multiple units but sounds like they are making good progress keeping if localized. Red Cross, PG&E Etc have been notified so heavy damage to at least one unit is expected. All residents have been accounted for. Lets be careful out there..... |

TCSO Cause of Death For William Ray Jaspar |

Copperopolis, CA...Late afternoon on October 28th a passing motorist saw a deceased William Ray Jaspar, 58 from Riverbank in Lake Tulloch near the Lake Tulloch Bridge. A forensic autopsy was conducted on the deceased, William Jaspar, The pathologist concluded the cause of death was drowning with a contributing factor of a massive stroke. It appears Mr. Jaspar suffered a massive stroke which caused him to fall into the water. The pathologist also concluded had Mr. Jaspar not drowned the stroke would have been fatal within several minutes....
