Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 11/17/2010 04:12 PM
Twenty-nine year old Max DeLacy, a lifelong Tuolumne County resident, is fighting a rare and particularly vicious form of cancer. Max is undergoing daily cancer treatments at the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, and although he has insurance he faces more than $10,000 in co-payments. Max will also need assistance over the next few months during his rigorous radiation and chemotherapy treatments and with living incidental expenses. There is also Max’s inability to work through the long and difficult journey ahead, and because Max works as an independent contractor for various entertainment companies, he has no sick leave benefits. ....

The High Country Hellcats Roll To A Great Season ~By Dylan Richardson

Posted by: thepinetree on 11/12/2010 07:33 AM
Sonora, CA...The High Country Hellcats ended their season last Saturday night against the San Luis Obispo Slammers in Sonora to a packed house. "I didn't expect this many people here tonight" Said Non Skating Official Sweet Alyce. The crowd rooted the Hellcats on relentlessly which included yelling at the refs for what they thought were bad call against their team. In the video I talked to two skaters about what they liked in this particular bout. The Hellcats fell behind in the bout but were able to make a huge comeback for the win in their final match of the season. After the bout I talked to Sweet Alyce about next season and she said it all starts back up in March but the girls will be having practices during the off-season...

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 11/01/2010 11:26 PM
Sonora, CA.... “The Fantasticks” is coming and it’s going to be wonderful! It’s set to open on Friday Nov. 12 and run through Dec. 19. "As I write this, the building is a beehive of activity. Sometimes I think we should sell tickets to rehearsals. ‘Fantasticks’ fits our theater so well. It’s a magical musical bursting with imagination and a wonderful score. Great for the holidays! ....
