Tuolumne County Sheriff James W. Mele Will Not Seek Reelection |
Posted by: thepinetree on 02/28/2018 04:43 PM

Sonora, CA...From the Sheriff..."It has been a pleasure to serve as your Sheriff for the last 12 years and to serve at this agency for the last 30 years. It is with a heavy heart that I've decided not to seek reelection to the Office of Sheriff of Tuolumne County. The decision not to run has been the most difficult and painstaking decision of my life. This community has embraced me with open arms, and for that I'm eternally grateful.
