Traffic Update...Motorcycle vs Vehicle in Valley Springs Area..Probable Fatality

Valley Springs, CA....Crews are working a motorcycle vs vehicle accident on Hwy 12 and Lime Creek Road. Please use caution in the area.... Update as of 8:23pm...This one is not looking good. Air ambulance was ordered and then moved to Mark Twain. CPR is in progress en-route. Sometimes this can mean they are trying to get the patient back to be stable enough to transport. Not a good sign. Another ambulance was ordered as well... Update as of 10:34pm...We have unconfirmed reports of this one being a fatality and one of the involveds in the vehicle had outstanding felony warrants so there is more to this case than is know this evening...

This meeting is our first off-site meeting of the school year. It will be held at West Point Elementary School. Closed session begins at 4:30 p.m. and open session begins at 5:30 p.m....
Vallecito, CA...The Calaveras County Taxpayers Association continues it's march on. Since its founding well before the Tea Party movement had even been thought of and continuing now with a Taxpayer Alert TV Program. Al Segalla and his merry band of tax vigilantes are present at seemingly every public meeting making sure the Constitution, Private Property Rights and Libertarian views are not swept under the rug of public process. San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce and the Calaveras Historical Society will host California State Assemblyman Frank Bigelow with an informal reception on Friday, August 23rd from 12 noon to 1:30. The reception is open to the public and will be held in the Historic County Museum located at 30 North Main Street in San Andreas...
