Valley Springs, CA....During public comments at the September 9 Board of Supervisors meeting, Tim McSorley, Executive Director, Calaveras Council of Governments, announced that the application for a Caltrans Community-Based Transportation Planning Grant for Valley Springs has been successful. Calaveras COG is the designated planning and administrative agency for transportation projects and programs in the County. ....

Sara's classic yet modern sounds matched perfectly with "living legend" sound of Willie Nelson. San Andreas, CA....The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will meet Tuesday, September 9th for their weekly meeting at 9am. Some of the agenda items being discussed will be a Public Hearing on the General Plan Update which was continued from 8/5/08 and 8/26/08; An ordinance to establish regulations for activities on Lake Tulloch Reservoir, continued from 8/12/08; A Resolution adopting Traffic Order and establishing traffic control devices for Murphys Grade Road, in Murphys, Bret Harte Drive in Murphys, Main Street in Murphys, Leary Court in Valley Springs; A Resolution Item establishing a Sheriffs Jail Improvement Designated Fund and more.
