Posted by: thepinetree on 11/17/2014 09:24 AM
San Andreas, CA....Following recent rain, CAL FIRE’s Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit has lifted the suspension of burning within State Responsibility Area (SRA) in Calaveras, Tuolumne, and the eastern portions of San Joaquin and Stanislaus that are within the SRA effective Monday, November 17, 2014. While cooler temperatures have helped to diminish the threat of wildfire, residents are asked to use caution while conducting debris burns. Burn permits are required for all burning projects and must be completed between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. Residents must follow burning requirements and maintain control of their fire at all times.
