Election Day 2016!! The Election Results Will Roll In After 8:30 pm

San Andreas, CA...If past is prologue the first results will roll in shortly after 8:30pm when they release the results of the vote by mail ballots received before polls have closed. In many of the past years if the results show more than a few percentage points between the contestants this first wave can predict the winners. But with 2016 being unlike most election cycles we shall see. Will the proponents of Measure D carry the day? Even their opposition has admired their campaign on style and implementation even if they disapprove of the measure. Will Former Supervisor Gary Tofanelli be able to regain his former seat or has Supervisor Edson proved to his constituents that his hands on the wheel are best? If you refresh the page after 8:30pm the results should start to show.

Bikers Ride For Trump & Pence To Show Their Support

White Pines, CA...This last Saturday morning local bikers that support the Trump & Pence ticket for President rode from Valley Springs to White Pines Park in the Arnold area. After the ride they had lunch and rallied for their cause. With almost no shot of Trump taking California some of their discussions were on how to help get out the vote in battleground states. Valley Springs Man Eludes Law After Felony Hit & Run

Sonora, CA...October 18th 2016, at approx. 9:19 am, emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Elkin and North Washington Street for a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian accident. During the investigation it was determined Jessica Williams, 30 of Jamestown, was walking south on North Washington Street, and was crossing Elkin Street in the marked crosswalk, when she was struck by a silver Honda sedan, which was turning left onto Elkin Street from southbound North Washington Street.
Jan Kevin Storm Passed Away At 66 After Long Battle With Cancer

Valley Springs, CA...Jan Kevin Storm, 66 of Valley Springs died at his home October 17, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Storm, sons Matthew & Mark Storm, daughter Ellen Storm, as well as his brothers Kim & Kyle Storm. A memorial service will be held Friday October 21, 2016 at San Andreas Community Covenant Church at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. Memorial contributions in Jan’s honor can be made to Hospice of Amador & Calaveras Counties.
