Angels Camp, CA...On October 3, Mistral Cumberlege passed away peacefully in Hospice care at Foothill Village, Angels Camp. Born in St. Tropez France, Misty lived all over the world before he came to America. Misty moved to California in the early 1950s. Everywhere he went he made many lasting friends. He loved sailing and skiing. He was a member of the Royal Ocean Racing Club and the Hurlingham Club of London, UK.

Double Fatalities in Fiery Collision on Lime Creek Road |

Valley Springs, CA...Party-1 was driving eastbound on Lime Creek Road approaching S. Petersburg Road. Party-1 drove off of the roadway and collided into a utility pole west of S Petersburg Rd. The vehicle traveled across S. Petersburg Road and continued off the road and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed, causing a small grass fire in the area.

Valley Springs, CA...The tragic notifications have been made and CHP has released the names in yesterday's crash. Party-1 was driving eastbound on Lime Creek Road approaching S. Petersburg Road. Party-1 drove off of the roadway and collided into a utility pole west of S Petersburg Rd. The vehicle traveled across S. Petersburg Road and continued off the road and came to rest in a ditch. The vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed, causing a small grass fire in the area.

Molly Jean Collins, 38 of Avery Passed Away in October 4th, Hwy 12 Fatal Collision |

Burson, CA....The Sad family notifications have been made and CHP has released the name of the young mother killed in Friday's Collision. Molly Jean Collins, 38 from Avery was the young woman who tragically passed away. Collins was driving a 2010 Acura sedan, within a private driveway, east of Haskell Street, and preparing to to turn left onto eastbound SR-12. McGee was driving a 2008 Ford F150, westbound on SR-12, at approximately 50-55 MPH, and approaching the Acura's location. For reasons still under investigation, Molly Collins unsafely entered SR-12 directly in the path of the approaching Ford. The front of the Ford collided with the drivers side of the Acura within the westbound lane of SR-12. The impact pushed both vehicles in a southwesterly direction and they left the roadway, coming to rest off the south roadway shoulder.

Markleeville, CA...We are sorry we did not report on this earlier. We receive some press releases from the Tahoe CHP Office but not all....On gofundme from Haley Stanfill. "My father passed away from a motorcycle accident. Please help us lay him to rest. Thank you. He is a loving father and husband." About the incident from South Lake Tahoe CHP..."On September 28, 2019, at approximately 3:18 PM, CHP was dispatched to a collision that occurred on SR-4 (Ebbetts Pass) 1.2 miles west of Silver Creek Campground. A 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on SR-4 followed by a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle. A 2012 Subaru Forester was traveling eastbound on SR-4 approaching both motorcycles. For reasons still under investigation, the 2001 Harley Davidson and the 2012 Subaru Forester collided into each other. The rider of the 2001 Harley Davidson succumbed to his injuries.

Angels Camp, CA...Dan Tzur, 60 from Menlo Park was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang, southbound within a private driveway, north of SR-4, and preparing to enter eastbound SR-4. Steele was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, westbound on SR-4, at an undetermined speed, and approaching Tzur's location.

Collision on Hwy 88 Near Ione This Morning Took The Life of Retired ACSO Sergeant Mark Lawrence |

Ione, CA...It is with a heavy heart that the Amador County Sheriff’s Office announces the tragic loss of a member of our family. Retired Sergeant Mark Lawrence was driving to the Amador County Superior Court this morning where he serves as a Court Security Deputy when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Despite the best efforts of the medical responders, Sergeant Lawrence died from his injuries. Sergeant Lawrence was escorted to Daneri Mortuary in a law enforcement procession with allied agency law enforcement officers and fire department members saluting him along the way.
