45 Year Old Copperopolis Man Lost His Life in Murphys Area Accident

Murphys, CA...On June 3, 2021, at approximately 1500 hours, a 45 year old Copperopolis man was driving a black Jeep Compass northbound on a fire road at a private residence near Apple Blossom Drive in Murphy's CA. he allowed his vehicle to exit the fire road. The Jeep overturned down an embankment and came to rest on its side. He was not wearing a seatbelt. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Mi-Wuk Village, CA... Steven L. Hill, of Mi-Wuk Village, was born on September 6, 1955 to Alan and Jeanette Hill in Oakland, CA, and passed away at his home on May 11, 2021 at the age of 65. After graduation from Marina High in San Leandro, Steven operated heavy equipment and worked at DaSilva Gates Construction Company for 25 years before working for George Reed Construction. In his free time, he enjoyed antiquing and restoring cars. On January 8, 2000, he married the love of his life, Siobhan, at the Mount Calvary Church in Sugar Pine, CA.

Tuolumne Sheriff's Department Releases Names of Men Who Perished at God's Bath

Deadwood, CA...The two men who tragically perished over the weekend have been identified as 25-year-old Rinoel Villena of Daly City and 20-year-old Benedict Rozario of Pittsburg. The two men were part of a larger group who visited Gods Bath. Mr. Villena, Mr. Rozario, and a third person jumped into the water. Due to the swift moving current and whirlpool, Mr. Villena and Mr. Rozario were overtaken and unable to surface. The third person was luckily able to get free from the current and surface down stream.
