San Andreas, CA....Zelphia "Louise" Watson, Age 74, passed away on November 21 2009 of Natural Causes in Austin Gardens, Care Center in Lodi, CA. She was a Homemaker. A native of Tulsa, OK. Lois moved to Calaveras County in 1945. Then moved to WA in 1958, Los Angeles in 1978, and settled in Lodi in 1988 and has lived there since then. All her family called her "Aunt Wee".....

Arnold Resident, Robert F. Bernhard Passed Away from Complications in an Auto Accident

Calaveras County, CA.....Arnold resident, Robert F. Bernhard, retired Food Industry Executive, died on November 21st, at age 79 due to complications from a car accident in Angels Camp on November 17th, 2009. He was a native of San Francisco. A graduate of New Mexico Military Institute, Roswell, NM. and of San Jose State University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Robert was a Retired Supplier to the Retail Food Industry after 40 years of service as Vice President of Pioneer Soap Co., Inc. in San Francisco. Director of Distribution of Mothers Cake and Cookie Co., in Oakland, CA., and Pioneer Associates of Arnold, CA. He was active in the CA Grocers Association and the Western Association of Food Chains Inc. He was a 50 year member of Illuminations, Inc., and was a dimmed headlite of the Illuminators. A life member of the Food Industry Sales Manager Club of San Francisco, and a 50 year member of the Olympic Club of San Francisco, long time member of the Sequoia Woods Country Club, a past Big Sir of the Sons in Retirement, and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Arnold, CA.....

Jan Overstreet Has Passed Away

Jan Overstreet died peacefully Thurs, Nov 19, 2009 at home, with her family by her side. She was 77. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Overstreet grew up in the Baltimore and Chicago areas, along with her siblings Valerie and Jim. She graduated with an AA from Graceland College and a BA from University of Illinois, where she met and later married William Bailey. They moved to San Jose and raised 3 children – Suzanne, James, and Michael. They later divorced. While living in San Jose, she volunteered tirelessly within the local school system – teaching chorus, creating and working with the GATE program, and volunteering wherever needed for the local school community.....

Heidi Garman-Fische Passed away peacefully on 11-12-09, at home with her family by her side. Heidi was born on 2-17- 47, and grew up in Darmstadt, Germany. She attended a trade school and then went to work for Meric in the animal laboratory. Heidi always loved animals and the outdoors. In 1963, at sixteen years old, she married GI Ray Garman and moved to the United States. They moved to Calaveras County in the early 70’s....

Sandra-Loreen Hilderman, Artist, Born 6-1-1946, Died 11-12-2009, Cause of death- Cancer. Sandy grew up in Stockton. She met her husband Rick in high school and they married 3-27-1966. They had two daughters, Alicia and Sally both of whom died of cystic fibrosis. Sandy was an artist in many media, but her passion was oil painting. She had a private studio in Jackson for a number of years. Recently, she had been able to enjoy her own studio built on their property. She quickly filled her new studio with her works and collectibles....

Angels Camp, CA....Polly Louise Dougherty, died peacefully at her home where she lived with her son Ro Dougherty and his family on November 7, 2009. She was 71. Her birthday would have been November 19th. A resident of Angels Camp for 5 years. Born in San Francisco,CA to Herbert Ray and Dorothy Rayborne. She grew up in Stockton, CA, married and raised three children then retired from San Joaquin County as a Senior Drug Counselor. She was proceeded in death by her sister Georgia Gentry. Survived by 3 children, daughter Pamela and son in law August Gus Gallasso of Waterford; Son, Charles and daughter in law Stacy Dougherty of Stockton, CA; Son, Randy and daughter in law Jolene Dougherty of Angels Camp; 13 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and 2 Brothers, Herbert Raybourne of Louisiana and Robert Raybourne of Stockton.....

Angels Camp, CA...Angels Camp resident, Stephen Andrew Floyd, passed away on November 10, 2009 at his residence in Angels Camp of Natural Causes. He was 47. Mr. Floyd was a retired lawyer. He lived in Angels Camp for 22 years. He was a native of Texas. Stephen was a member of the California Bar Association who received his degree from the McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA. He also received his Atmospheric Science Degree from UC Davis and member of the CHI PHI Fraternity and an accomplished rock climber.....
