John Angelo Natalia 1962 - 2018

White Pines, CA...John Angelo (AKA Hoss) Natalia was born in Santa Cruz California on October 26, 1962 and passed away on November 28, 2018. He attended Quail Hollow School in Ben Lomond before moving with the family to White Pines in 1972. Then he attended Hazel Fisher Elementary and then Bret Harte High School. He loved baseball, horseshoeing & rodeo. He also had a passion for dirt bikes and could be seen riding wheelies all the way from White Pines to the Texaco Station.

Houston, TX...George Herbert Walker Bush (born June 12, 1924 - died November 30, 2018) is an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. A member of the Republican Party, he had previously been a Congressman, Ambassador and Director of Central Intelligence. During his career in public service, he was known simply as George Bush; since 2001, he has often been referred to as "George H. W. Bush", "Bush 41", or "George Bush Senior" in order to distinguish him from his eldest son, George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the United States. He is the nation's oldest living president and vice president, as well as the longest-lived American president in history.

Contractor Jack Strange has Passed Away at the age of 69

Murphys, CA...It is with great sadness and disbelief that our family announces the passing of Jack Strange, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Jack passed on November 24, 2018, at the age of 69. Jack and Nancy have been together for 51 years and have enjoyed their life in Calaveras County raising their two sons. Jack was a well-known and respected general contractor who ran his own business with integrity and pride.

Clarence Thomas (C.T.) Johnson 1925 - 2018

Angels Camp, CA...Clarence Thomas (C.T.) Johnson. Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend passed into God’s hands on November 12, 2018 due to natural causes. He was 93. C.T. was born in Hardyville, Kentucky on August 29, 1925 to James and Beulah Johnson. He had 5 brothers and 3 sisters, all of whom preceded him in death. C.T. graduated high school in 1943 and on June 14, 1943, at the age of 17, enlisted in the Navy. He was stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois. From 1943-1946, he served in the Navy as a Coxswain on the USS San Francisco (CA-38). The USS San Francisco was one of the most decorated ships of WWII earning 17 battle stars.

Angels Camp, Nov 16, 2018 Carol Burton,92, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born on May 7, 1926 in Salinas, CA to Chester and Jess Guild. She graduated from Piedmont High School and UC Berkeley and moved to Hathaway Pines in 1958 with her husband Dr.Clark Burton(dentist in Altaville, then Murphys), and her 3 children.She enjoyed skiing, bicycle touring, music, dancing, watercolor painting, and all the people involved.A fourth child Tom was born in 1962.

34 Year Old Sonora Woman Loses Her Life in Logging Truck vs Vehicle Collision

Sonora, CA...On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at approximately 7:05 am, 25 year old Wallace resident, Tyler Hughes, was driving a loaded logging truck, eastbound on State Route 108 approaching Stockton Street. A 34 year old Sonora resident was driving a 1996 Honda Civic, eastbound on State Route 108, ahead of Hughes. For unknown reasons, the driver of the Civic drove onto the right shoulder and immediately initiated a U-turn directly into Hughes path. Subsequently, the front of the logging truck struck the left side of the Civic.

Camp Fire Death Totals Continue to Rise. 56 Deaths Confirmed as of November 14th

Paradise, CA...The Butte County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) reports an additional eight fatalities have been confirmed due to the Camp Fire. Eight human remains were located in Paradise. Six sets of human remains were found inside structures. Two sets of human remains were found outside structures. This brings the total number of fatalities to date to 56.

Camp Fire Death Toll and Homes Destroyed Totals Climb Yet Again to 48 Fatalities & 7,600 Homes Burned

Paradise, CA...The Homes destroyed has climbed to a staggering 7,600 homes and the death toll climbed again to 48. Today firefighters continued to hold established containment lines. Tonight firefighters will take advantage of nighttime humidity recovery. Throughout the night firefighters will provide structure defense and continue to strengthen and improve existing control lines. Firefighters will be on patrol within the fire area while also mitigating hot spots and hazards.
