Arnold, CA...GABA members and guests are all invited to the March mixer at Tallahans this evening from 5:30 to 7PM. Pat Ross from the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Dept. will be speaking on crime prevention and discussing security tips for businesses. There is a no host bar and appetizers to tempt you. There will also be a raffle and donations are appreciated! Come on down and join your fellow business owners to see how we are all managing in this economy.

Calaveras Saddle Club Benefit Horse Show Being Held on March 28th |

In an effort to promote the equestrian sport throughout Calaveras County, the Calaveras Saddle Club Benefit Horse Show is being organized by a Bret Harte High School Senior. The horse show will be on Saturday, March 28, 2009, and it will start at 9:00 am. Throughout the 37 different classes, the horse show will feature four main riding disciplines including: English, jumping, western, and gymkhana. The horse show is open to anyone of any age, and is categorized into three different divisions: walk-jog, 17 & under, and 18 & over. We also welcome this horse show to 4-H members, as we will have a showmanship class offering members the benefit to use this event in their record books.... |
