Arnold, CA...Cedar Center was filled with beautiful machines, music from the "Tour Guides" and more on Saturday. This event has become a fixture of the summer calendar in Arnold. It is a great event to celebrate the love of machines. We have photos below and video is enclosed....

Today: Sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming west northwest between 7 and 10 mph. Tonight: Clear, with a low around 64. North northwest wind between 3 and 11 mph....

Arnold, CA...Stop by the CHS Thrift Store Adoption Center in Arnold this week, Thurs - Sat., 10-5pm. Located in Meadowmont next to Round Table Pizza - Phone 209-795-GIVE. Meet "Saffron" - Her name says it all - exotic and beautiful deep rust orange with golden eyes! Saffron is a short haired orange tabby female - orange females are about as rare as the spice she is named for. Saffron is a compact 8 lbs with dainty paws, about 2 years old, very sweet and calm. She is a bit timid in new situations, but is happy to sit in .....

Arnold, CA.....Our annual Father's Day Derby is just around the corner on June 19Th. Don't miss the opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime and enjoy a day of fishing at beautiful White Pines Lake. This is completely a non profit event with the entry fees going toward the planting of rainbow trout in White Pines Lake. The entry fee is $5.00 for 13 years and older and free for 12 years and under. The Derby starts at safe light to 3:00pm with awards after. We will be at the Lake at approx 6:00am to sign in last minute entries for the day. ......

Trout Derby, June 19, 2011! Don’t miss the Annual Trout Fishing Derby at White Pines Lake (near Arnold) this Father’s Day, June 19, 2011. Open to all, there are 4 age groups plus biggest fish. Kids 12 and under are free and there is a low $5.00 entry fee for all others. All the entry fees are used to buy trout, which are planted in the lake before the derby. Hosted by Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods in Arnold with prizes donated by many factory ......

June Volunteer Trail Building Day: Saturday, June 18th, 8:30 am - noon. Meet at USFS Station in Hathaway like we have in the past... see details below! July Volunteer Trail Building Day & BBQ: Saturday, July 9th, trail building 8:30 am - noon, BBQ at noon. | Dorrington, CA...Crews are working an accident on Hwy 4 and Boards Crossing. A Pickup and a Toyota have gotten together. Update as of 5:24pm..The intersection has been cleared and this will be a non-injury accident... |
