Utility Work Continues Along Hwy 4 In Arnold Area |

Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 from Willow Street to Moran Road in the town of Arnold for utility work. Work will begin Monday, June 19, 2017, through Friday, June 23, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Arnold, CA…A mountain lion paid us a visit and was recorded this morning in Arnold. Our house is on Bull Wacker Run and is very close to the Stanislaus National Forest boundary. The camera has recorded many different animals, fox, deer, bobcats, turkeys, etc., but this is the first mountain lion.

Arnold, CA...Hazel Fischer Elementary Parents Club has brought back The Firecracker Mile! This "mile" race through Arnold will kick off the Annual 4th of July Parade. Runners and walkers welcome! July 1st, 2017 9:30 a.m. at the bottom of the Arnold Byway No parking at the race start. Catch the shuttle at Cedar Center at 8:00 and 8:30.
