Is The Time Finally Right To Build Your Dream Home? Cedar Ridge Has Your Lots Ready! Video Interview With Jon Ellis (Updated Plot Map...Get Your Lot Before They Are Gone!)

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/28/2017 11:18 AM
Arnold, CA...Since 1990 Jon Ellis has had a dream of a great, upscale, custom home community on the beautiful 180 acre Cedar Ridge property. He and his wife Anne have kept pursuing this dream against what have at times been significant odds. Their patience, perseverance and faith have paid off. The property is a former Boy Scout Camp that at times played host to 10,000 young Scouts at a time. That has given way to wide, mostly level streets, underground utilities including electric, water, sewer & more. If you are looking for a mountain lot that is ready for your home these are ready and construction could begin within weeks....

Calaveras Ranger District Roads, Campgrounds Reopen to the Public

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/28/2017 12:26 PM
Hathaway Pines, CA...Three roads on the Calaveras Ranger District that suffered extensive damage from winter storms this year will reopen today, Stanislaus National Forest officials announced. Spicer, Slick Rock and McKays roads are now open to visitors wishing to travel on them. “All three roads are safe for public access, but please use caution and drive slowly. We have identified the damaged road segments and have marked them with signs, barricades and reflectors so drivers are aware,” said Casey Jardine, acting Calaveras District Ranger. “We have worked hard to prepare the road and are relieved they are in good enough shape to get visitors to many of our campgrounds in time for the Independence Day holiday.” Calaveras Ranger District staff have fielded many phone calls about the extensive road closures, Jardine said. “We are glad the visitors will be able to enjoy recreating within the Spicer, Union, Utica and Slick Rock areas again,” she added.
