Arnold, CA...On November 30th, 2023, the body of Ann Marie Herford was located by Deputies of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office and the Calaveras County Volunteer Search and Rescue Team. Continued search efforts throughout the week have included searches by air and ground in the dense forest of tall trees, thick manzanita, and mountainous terrain.

Arnold, CA...The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close State Route 108 East (Sonora Pass) to traffic at Kennedy Meadows due to storm conditions, beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. The California Department of Transportation will also temporarily close State Route 4 (Ebbetts Pass) and State Route 89 (Monitor Pass) to traffic due to storm conditions, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Arnold, CA...Before having four beautiful children, in 2011 my wife and I found ourselves backpacking through Europe and South America. We purchased a couple of vintage travel posters in Europe and not being able to find something similar in the Patagonia region of South America, I decided I would create my own posters of the scenes we had visited. After my initial Patagonia travel print series, I was inspired to paint local scenes of our iconic area in the Sierra and make them into travel prints. Twelve years later I have 100+ travel print designs of Alpine, Calaveras &Tuolumne counties and beyond.
