Posted by: John_Hamilton on 06/04/2011 02:50 PM
Valley Springs, CA...If you own a home in the mountains, chances are you've looked at your basement or crawlspace and wondered how you could capture that space and use it more productively. Turning those open areas into bright, comfortable, usable living space may be easier than you think. We are currently in the process of creating a rec room, study, laundry and bathroom out of the previously dark crawlspace under a home built in 2001. Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Visitor Center Slated for June 18th!

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 06/01/2011 03:47 PM
Big Trees State Park, CA....Calaveras Big Trees State Park, CA...Local and regional park officials have been notified that the state has finally approved construction of a new Visitor Center for the state park oh Highway 4 in Calaveras County. Work should begin before the end of summer. The project has been in the works for more than 15 years, encountered numerous delays, and the state had asked for bids at least twice. The most recent holdup was caused by the Department of Finance waiting to make sure the park was not on the list of state parks to be closed due to California’s budget problems. Earlier delays were attributed to changes in state fire codes and revisions to the site and building plans. ....
