We will have approximately 9 Cats & Kittens available to meet you this week. We are currently having a 'Summer Of Love' Special. The adoption donation for Adults & Junior Kittens over 4 months of age is $35, and all Kittens up to 4 months old are $50. This is an incredible value considering that our costs in caring for and preparing these wonderful foster cats for adoption is far greater. It's a labor of love. Altaville Man's Toyota Pick Up Ends Up Entwined in Trees |

Hathaway Pines, CA...A 24 year old Altaville man was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4 when he fell asleep at the wheel while driving. He felt himself nodding off and when he did his vehicle drifted to the left, going across the westbound lane and then over the north embankment, where it hit several trees before coming to a rest approximately 20 feet over the north embankment, entwined in the trees.

White Pines, CA...Thursday evening before Memorial Day found the members of Arnold Rotary raking and piling pine needles and weedeating the grassy areas of Rotary Cove (near the swimming beach) at White Pines Park, making it ready for Memorial weekend enjoyment by visitors and locals alike. After the work was done, a potluck and BBQ followed. Rotary is a world-wide service organization dedicated to helping others, and their motto is “Service Above Self.” Arnold Rotary is looking for new members who would like to be more involved in the Arnold community and helping others. For more information, contact President Sharon Tussy at 209.795.9693. Weekly dinner meetings are held at Sequoia Woods Country Club, starting at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
