Arnold, CA....Chapel in the Pines, on May11th through May 18, 2008, is on another rebuilding mission. Some may recall the mission to Long Beach, Mississippi back in March 2006. Long Beach, MS was one of many communities hit by Hurricane Katrina. Many homes were worked on that week. Many lives were encouraged by their loving acts of kindness......

Blue Lake Springs, CA.....A part time Blue Lake Springs resident, was getting ready to take a shower last night, and was faced with a little surprise....a bat had taken up residence in the shower curtain. He went to corral the critter to move outdoors, but with his lacking skills in bat-catching, he tried to capture it in a ever so popular Trader Joe's bag. Well, he was unsuccessful....instead he was bitten on the hand.....
