Arnold, CA...The North Grove Trail is open...we do not groom it so come prepared. We got about a foot of snow, great for snowshoeing, cross country skiing or walking with really good snow boot. On Saturdays at 1pm we have a guided snowshoe hike meet at the warming hut. We have some snowshoes available for people to use, for the hike. The Sierra Nevada Adventure Company is also the perfect place to gear up for your trek....

Dorrington, CA... WE'VE GOT SNOW!!!!! WEATHER: 12 inches of that pretty white stuff accumulated during yesterdays storm. Tempuratures loomed at 30 degrees while the mountain received it blanket. Sunny and clear with bright blue sky as far as you can see with abundant sunshine today...

Please take note that the opinions of this article or not the opinions of The Pine Tree dot net, but are in fact my own personal opinions....
Avery, CA...All right...the cats and dogs were stuffed, but they came down in a shower as Avery Middle School students and staff gathered for their spring rally. After a tumultuous start with the "noodle game", and the introduction of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Boy's Basketball lineups for 2011/2012, the real contest began as the three-legged race took over the Hawk's gym...
As a parent, I'm used to seeing my kids create fun objects out of their Legos or make a fort from all the blankets in their bedroom. I've helped with many school projects and received countless handmade mothers day cards...and kept every one! So, when I came across Instructables.com, I just had to share it with you! Not only is a great way to get your creative juices flowing, it's a "green" way as well....
