In this holiday tradition, Calaveras Transit teams up with the Resource Connection Food Bank Santa’s Express to collect food for hungry Calaveras County families. Teacher Janice concluded her career as a kindergarten teacher at Juana Briones Elementary School in the Palo Alto Unified School District.

White Pines, CA...This last Saturday morning local bikers that support the Trump & Pence ticket for President rode from Valley Springs to White Pines Park in the Arnold area. After the ride they had lunch and rallied for their cause. With almost no shot of Trump taking California some of their discussions were on how to help get out the vote in battleground states. John Paul Fischer, 75 from Stockton Lost His Life In Hwy 4 Collision

Camp Connell, CA...Fischer was stopped at the intersection of Meko Drive and SR-4, preparing to make a left turn from Meko Drive onto westbound SR-4. A Sacramento Woman was driving eastbound on SR-4 approaching Meko Drive. The collision occurred when Fischer pulled out onto SR-4 directly in front of her. She attempted to take evasive action to avoid the Toyota but subsequently the front of her Jeep collided with the drivers side of the Toyota. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection of SR-4 and Meko Drive.
