This Week at the Angels Camp CHS Thrift Store Adoption Center – TASHA!

Angels Camp, CA...Stop by the Calaveras Humane Society's Thrift Store/Cat Adoption Center in Angels Camp, located in Angels Town Center at 240 S. Main St./Hwy 49. Both of our Thrift Stores/Adoption Centers will be CLOSED ON NEW YEARS DAY only. Angels Camp will be open this week on Thursday/New Years Eve, 10am–3pm & Saturday, 11am–5pm. Tasha and several other fabulous felines will be available to meet you in Angels Camp. We will also have kitties available at our Arnold Adoption Center, located in Meadowmont Center next to Big Trees Market, open this week on Thursday/New Years Eve, 10am–3pm & Saturday, 10am–5pm. Come in to one or both adoption centers and meet the kitties! Happy New Year!

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Happy Holidays! Clear skies and crisp morning temps are in effect for the next 3-4 days. A beautiful Blue Bird day is ahead and temps will hover right around 32F with a WSW wind from 5-7mph. Grooming is excellent as is most off-piste skiing/riding currently. Nastar will be up and running through the weekend so it's perfect weather and conditions for a trip to Bear Valley and with the New Years Eve festivities in the Village it's not to be missed! We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!!!!!!! The current snowfall has set us up for a great Holiday season so bring your family & friends and experience our "Pure Mountain Fun"

Bear Valley, CA...It looks to be perfect weather for the holiday vacation week for many. Today: Mostly cloudy. Numerous snow showers in the morning... Then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 21 to 36 higher elevations...33 to 39 lower elevations. Little or no snow accumulation lower elevations...up to 1 inch higher elevations. Light winds. Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers in the evening...then mostly clear after midnight. Colder. Lows 9 to 24 higher elevations...21 to 31 lower elevations. Prevailing northeast winds up to 10 mph.
Arnold, CA...Jackie Linebaugh, a resident of Arnold for 39 years passed away on December 18, 2015. She was born August 13, 1959 in Sonora, CA. She is survived by her husband Craig Linebaugh of Arnold, Son Jasen Linebaugh of Arnold, daughters Jennifer Cobb of Louisiana, Kebra Prest of Murphys, Star Linebaugh of Arnold and 9 Grandchildren.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!!!! Happy Holidays! Snowing lightly currently at 5am and winds are out of the SSE from 9-14mph. 1-2" is expected today then by tonight the system should push it's way East and clearing skies will be the thing after midnight. Cold air associated with this system will bring the night time low's in around the mid teens the next few nights and daytime highs low to mid 30's. High pressure looks to be in place for the next week so sunshine and great skiing/riding will be had.
