Congressional Level Cookies, Cub Scouts & Mingling

Posted by: thepinetree on 08/14/2008 11:31 AM
Copperopolis, CA...In an earlier piece we posted the video portion of Congressman Lungren's Visit to Copperopolis for a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday Eve. We thought we would pass along a few photos as well. One highlight of the evening were the cookies! 2005 Bret Harte Graduate and Former Lungren Staffer, Stephanie Larson, was so kind to bake up a huge batch of delicious sugar cookies with patriotic Red, White and Blue frosting. Even Lungren's Communications Director, Brian Kaveney ,gave them rave reviews and made repeated visits to the cookie basket as I did of course! I even brought some "to go" for my family....but they somehow did not make it. Stephanie served in Lungren's Washington DC Office and also at his District Office....

Latest Update on Matthew McCullough~From the McCullough Family

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 08/13/2008 12:59 PM
Matt’s Update...."Sorry for the long delay, since the last update. I know a lot people look forward to seeing these updates, but it’s been a little hectic lately. As of today, 7/24/08, Matt is doing ok. Since the last update, Matt had to have a platelet transfusion. His white blood count is also low, but they can’t do anything about that. They have to wait until his body produces more white blood cells, before he can get more chemo....
