A mix of rain /snow is expected through the day today as the warm air aloft arrives with a projected snow elevation level of 7000'. 1-3" of snow is possible today with a 50/50 chance that it could go either way today being full rain or snow., we'll just have to wait and see how it plays out over the next few hours. The expected high is suggested to be 36F and falling to 28F by 3pm or so. Winds will be out of the South from 18-23mph with gusts to 34mph. Tonight will continue with a mix of rain and snow as the temp will again rise to around 38F during the early morning of Tuesday coupled with high winds in the 40-48mph range with gusts to 75mph and continuing out of the South. Tuesday could drop another 7-11" of new snow as the temps fluctuate and winds will again be out of the South from 31-36mph with gusts to 55mph. The Lower Mtn will be on hold today due to the higher elevation snow levels as concerns there are Avalanche related.
