Water Outage in Arnold...With Monday Morning Update...

Arnold, CA....CCWD is currently working a water outage from problems with a transmission line. It may be a few hours until the problems are resolved. More to follow... Update as of 12:21pm We just checked in with CCWD and it may be 7 hours or so until full restoral. The outage is widespread in the Arnold area... Update as of 2:06pm...no change as of yet. Still looking at 6 to 7pm tonight...Update as of 4:49pm...Water has been restored. CCWD asks that you flush your lines as there may be some darkened water... (Monday morning update...we just spoke with CCWD's Bill Pearly and most of their system was back up by 1pm yesterday afternoon. So for many customers the outage was just about 2 hours.)

Dear Editor, Roger & I want to thank each and every person who helped us, prayed for us & supported us these past 5 months. He never expected to make it home to Arnold, but he finally made it...yeah for Rog. He couldn't have done it without the help of our incredible community!

We will have 10 cats and kittens available to meet you this week. Our "Opt to Adopt an Adult" Spring Special is still in effect, so the adoption donation on all of our Adult cats (one year of age & older) is currently only $20. There are so many advantages to adopting an adult. Please consider giving one or more of our precious adult cats a chance to blossom in a loving home...

San Andreas, CA...Election Nights have become almost a ritual for us over the last 7 years. The crowds are fewer now as many of you know the results will show up in close to real time online. There is still something about watching the numbers change as the precinct boxes return from across the county. This is real human drama in action. Arnold, CA...The Greater Arnold Business Association has new leadership and a new attitude that is starting to make changes along the Ebbetts Pass Corridor. Houses are starting to sell like hotcakes again and what was the largest community in Calaveras County seems to be awakening from a brief economic nap. The Arnold Area will always have the natural beauty as it's pull and with a new crop of business and home owners many are sensing a resurgence of the area. As an example GABA now has a new Laura Bowly designed website and they recently started hanging beautiful new signs along Hwy 4. Arnold will soon be covered from head to toe with WiFi as well....
