San Andreas, CA...Assistant CAO Shirley Ryan led yesterday's study session on the final FY2009/10 Budget which will be acted upon at next Tuesday's Board meeting. The $146 million dollar budget . The total General Fund Budget is $58,671,244. While revenue projections are at $59,247,643. The main topic of yesterday's discussion centered on how to earmak some additional reserve and contingency funds. As the budget was presented there was only $200,000 left for emergency or unbudgeted spending. That didn't sit well with anyone on the Board. After the discussions and adjustments the County will have around a $1million in slack in the very tight budget....
