San Andreas, CA...Yesterday's meeting was fairly brief as Board meetings go. It came in at just under 2 hours. The meeting also had a fairly light agenda. San Andreas, CA...This is the replay of our Live Webcast of yesterday's board meeting. This was a packed and busy meeting this video portion picks up at the end of Chair Selection (Which is Posted Separately) and runs for approximately 5 hours. Yesterday was also Calaveras Youth Mentoring Day. A large contingent of representatives from that great program were there for their proclamation of Youth Mentoring Month and also Marti Crane from Valley Springs even showed up in full Bumble Bee Costume to promote the Calaveras Follies....

San Andreas, CA...San Andreas resident and CHP Veteran Dallas "Jim" Clary was honored by a resolution that was passed by the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors. Officer Clary was also honored by Senator Dave Cox's office for his years of service to his community and state. Former fellow CHP Officer and outgoing Supervisor Bill Claudino handled the ceremony. Supervisor Claudino even told a great story of how when Officer Clary was a younger and faster man he even chased and caught a suspect after ditching his shoes as he felt they were slowing him down...

| San Andreas, CA...At yesterday's Calaveras County Board of Supervisor's meeting, San Joaquin County Building industry representatives and Burnell Wealth Management's Principal, Cory Burnell, were on hand on hand to speak on behalf of the Trinitas project. They exhorted the county to let the project move forward for fiscal reasons. He spoke about the lawsuit imposed ban on non-native fish stocking and it's affect on the local economy. San Andreas, CA...The second big item, besides the Murphys Hotel sign on the Board of Supervisors agenda on Tuesday, was the County's Official response to the Grand Jury Report. It was in many ways anticlimactic and expected. At the center of the report was the county's roll in the Community Development Agency mess of the last couple of years. That the County's official position would be to disagree with the Grand Jury Report was a foregone conclusion. It would be safe to say that the relative peace and quiet of the last few months from a controversy aspect has been a welcome development for everyone even if real development continues to languish. It has been very clear from the moment the Report was released and also from the exit agreement for Former CDA Director Stephanie Moreno that at least publicly the county would attack the validity of the Grand Jury findings...
