Golden State Cellular Announces the Addition of 3G Broadband to a Significant Portion of Their Network

Jamestown, CA....Golden State Cellular announces the addition of 3G Mobile Broadband to a significant portion of their network. This network improvement will benefit Golden State Cellular customers using data applications such as: picture messaging, email and internet from conventional cellular handsets, Android phones, smartphones, laptops and computers. 3G provides a more robust experience and supports faster internet downloads and even streaming video. Mostly intended for mobile users the service could benefit those in areas without broadband internet access. Golden State Cellular has completed extensive testing of the new 3G Broadband service and here is what our beta customers have to say....

A couple of weeks ago, I read on Comcast.net an article called The Top Ten Things Not To Buy in 2010. Two of the recommendations had to do with computers. Last time, I talked about the first of these two items: backups. The article said not to buy an external hard drive for backups. I agree with this, but it's an oversimplification in a big subject. I covered the pros and cons of many backup techniques, and explained the set of items that I recommend as a way to protect your data from a hard drive crash and other catastrophes.....

Wiley Computer Works Now Offering Computer Drop Off Service

Wiley Computer Works is here to accommodate people who want to drop off their computers for service in Arnold, Wiley Computer Works now has a drop off location between Giant Burger and Mason's. This location is being staffed by Sid Marsh. If possible, please try to call ahead at 770-5934 to make sure he's in, since he'll sometimes be out on a call. If the sign is out, however, then he is there and you can just drop in. Wiley Computer Works also has coverage in Sonora through Steve Orr. To make arrangements, please call Steve at 601-6475.....
