San Andreas, CA...ON Saturday Mark Twain Medical Center held their 20th Annual Health Fair. These are great events for local residents. Low or no cost health screenings and tests, healthcare community info & more. They also delivered 411 Flu shots to keep Calaveras flu free this winter.

Dr. Eldo Frezza is a Board Certified General Surgeon, specializing in breast reconstruction, wound care, and colon dissections and repairs. Dr. Frezza has practiced Medicine in both the United States and Italy. He also holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration. He is now practicing full-time at Mark Twain Medical Center's Specialty Care Center in San Andreas. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. Dr. Frezza noted, "When my patients are recovering, they need their family nearby. I understand the importance of keeping patients close to home."

The Medicare Open Enrollment Period begins on October 15 and runs through December 7. Any changes made during Open Enrollment are effective as of January 1, 2019.

San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) will be holding its 20th Annual Fall Health Fair on Saturday, September 29th from 7am to noon at the Hospital Campus in San Andreas. In addition to the many valuable services and information that will be available; this year the MACT Health Board, Inc. will have two of their Optometrists from their San Andreas Clinic at the 20th Annual Fall Health Fair to provide free vison and glaucoma screenings.
