Over $15,000 Raised at Take It To Heart's Celebrity Luncheon 2008~By John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 05/02/2008 11:57 PM
Murphys, CA...The Main Hall at Ironstone Vineyards was filled again today for a good cause. It was the Annual Celebrity Luncheon to raise money for the Take It To Heart Foundation. There were Spelunkers (Larry Cornish), Super Heroes (Lisa Westbrook), Clowns (Chatom Vineyards), Supervisor Candidates in Fishnet Stockings (Ron Klass) an entire Table of Candidates and much more. At this event prominent figures in the local community don their best costumes and the proverbial apron (In Tom Tryon's Case it was a real apron) to wait tables for a good cause. Over $15,000 was raised for the charity that has been recently focusing on reducing childhood obesity in both Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties...
