Head Calaveras County Building Official Jeff White Retires After 30 Years Of Service

San Andreas, CA....On Friday Head Building Official Jeff White retired after 30 years of service to Calaveras County. We had the pleasure of interviewing him on Thursday. We talked for 1/2 half hour or so on how the improvements in building codes have increased the safety of homes, will make homes to be rebuilt in the Butte Fire are increasingly fire safe including homes with fire sprinklers...
We recorded about 1/2 hour of video of our interview but a camera malfunction made the first 20 minutes unusable. Above is the final portion of the video where he summarizes what we discussed luckily makes at least some of it salvageable
