Angels Camp, CA...The only Incorporated city in Calaveras County now has a spiffy new state of the art website. The site went live yesterday and will allow City staff to do the bulk of site maintenance themselves. Now when the City needs to get the word out, post updates, etc. City Clerk Mary Kelly and others can now just log in and make changes. The site was designed by local computer consulting firm...

New York, NY...The Nielsen Company reported that viewing of video on television, Internet and mobile devices - the Three Screens - continues to increase and has reached new heights. In its fourth quarter "A2/M2 Three Screen Report", Nielsen reported that the average American watches more than 151 hours of TV per month, an all-time high. Meanwhile, Americans who watch video over the Internet consume another 3 hours of online video per month and those who use mobile video watch nearly 4 hours per month on mobile phones and other devices...

Mark Twain St. Josesphs Hospital Foundation Celebrates Successful Campaign and Installs New Officers

At the Annual Dinner and Installation of officers recently head at Ironstone Vineyards, Robert Hussmann from Angels Camp, the newly installed Foundation President, announced the success of a campaign to support Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital’s purchase of digital mammography technology. The first machine, funded by the Foundation, is scheduled to be installed in the San Andreas hospital in early fall. “We are so fortunate to live in a community that understands the importance of having a thriving health care facility and is willing to support it so generously,” stated Hussmann. The campaign for the second machine in Angels Camps is underway.....

The City of Angels Camp is seeking a citizen interested in serving on the Museum Commission. The Commission coordinates museum activities, acquisitions development and maintenance; promotes understanding and financial support from the public and private sources and assists in the annual budget preparation and long range capital improvement programs. No stipend will be paid. Please submit a letter of interest to: City Clerk, Angels Camp City Hall, P.O. Box 667, 584 S Main St, Angels Camp or email marykelly@angelscamp.gov.

Let the Hearings Begin....Trinitas is before the Planning Commission Now! As of 5:20pm the meeting has been continued until March 19th! Over 6 hours of meeting video now enclosed...

San Andreas, CA...The Ridge at Trinitas is now before the Calaveras County Planning Commission. The applicants and their experts and Representatives are addressing the commission now. We will provide complete video of the meeting for viewing later. Because of the change of venue to the San Andreas Town Hall, we were unable to bring you the meeting live. Over 200 people are attending the meeting at this time. Updates to come so stay tuned......(Update...after public comments from almost 30 interested parties they are breaking for lunch and will resume at approximately 1pm.).....
