Are You One of "These" People? We Sure Hope So! |

Arnold, CA...Did you ask your parents “Why” so much they threatened you and you still asked anyway? Is “What Happened” a question you can always answer? Do you post so many news links on your Facebook timeline your friends would rather see a picture of your food? Has “Having to Know” chased friends away? Is “That's All There Is?” something you say after reading/watching/browsing every news outlet you can find? Have you actually cried watching the news when something horrific has happened in the world? Do you think news should be news and not left or right? Do you see every story through the lens of how will this affect your community and neighborhood? If most of the questions above felt too close to home then we need to talk, we need you and we are here to help!! |

Arnold, CA...As the starting point for the Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway, Arnold might be considered to be the gateway to the Sierra (and the big trees for that matter), but this rustic mountain town (elevation 4,000-feet) is a vacation destination in and of itself. Petition to Stop the Murphys RV and Boat Storage Facility Project (on Hwy 4 - Across from Forest Meadows) ~From Dale C McCormick |
Posted by: John_Hamilton on 11/25/2013 04:58 PM
|
Murphys, CA....We are writing as concerned citizens of the Highway 4 corridor. You may not be aware of the proposed conditional use permit for the development of the Murphy’s RV & Boat Storage facility, Project 2012-041. This development will be located directly in front of Forest Meadows and across from Northwood Drive. We believe that this project is not a proper commercial development of this parcel, as defined by its zoning, and it is not in the interest of the county or the surrounding community. The industrial nature of the planned development would be offensive and dangerous to the residents and visitors of our hilltop, which is primarily a scenic residential area...
