Stop by here tonight or on Comcast Channel 7 to watch some "Friday Night Live!" Bret Harte Bullfrogs vs. Escalon and Calaveras High Redskins vs. Ripon. Both are Home games starting with JV at 5:30pm, and Varsity around 7pm. We will start broadcasting at 7pm. We would like to thank our sponsors for making this happen! Lake Alpine has been dropping steadily this past week. You can launch a small aluminum boat, kayak or canoe, but it would be difficult if not impossible to launch a larger boat. Fishing has been excellent this past week due to cooler weather and a recent small rain storm. The big fish have been cruising the shallows.....

Ripon, CA...We would like to thank Jeff Rasmussen for taking great photos again this week. The Bullfrogs are home on Friday against Escalon. This Friday is also fan appreciation night. During the Bret Harte Football game against Escalon the first 500 Bret Harte adult fans will receive either a: 4 inch Mum plant ready for the garden grown my our agriculture students, or Spirit megaphone. Also included with either item will be a coupon redeemable at the Snack Bar for a free drink. This is Bret Harte High School's way of thanking the community and parents for their continued support of all of our student athletes.

Angels Camp, CA...Tonight we will be broadcasting here on the ThePineTree.net and also on PATV Comcast Channel 7. We will be bringing you the Varsity Game between the Bret Harte Bullfrog Mens Soccer Team and Argonaut. Because of the pending wet weather we had to choose a game where we knew we would have an indoor setup. We would like to thank those of you who stopped by last Friday Night for Bret Harte Homecoming Football. We will be starting on here at 7pm and Cable will cut over to the game at 7:30pm. Angels Camp, CA.....Often people forget that cheerleading is more than waving pom-poms and being energetic; cheerleading consists of team that trusts, honors, and encourages each other during a sport they know and love. The Bret Harte High School cheerleading squad faced a true hardship at the beginning of the year, when they couldn't practice or cheer do to the lack of a coach.....

Angels Camp, CA.....This afternoon over 60 people registered for the inaugural Nine Hole Scramble and Horse Race at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. The new event is a fundraiser for the Calaveras Community Foundation. We spoke with J Shoop from the Calaveras Community Foundation and he shared, "we are excited to announce this event and we would like to make it an annual event." Each player donated $100 to play in the non-tournament, raising $6,000 just by entries......

Deer season is now underway. D-6 Opened last weekend and D-5 Opened this past weekend. Lake Alpine has been dropping steadily this past week.
