Join John and Scott This Evening for Some "Live" Girls Basketball at 6:30pm!....Replay Enclosed |

Angels Camp, CA....Join John Hamilton and our local Al Michaels and Brent Musberger rolled into one, Scott Soracco, for some "Live" Basketball right here at 6pm! Bret Harte girls take on Argonaut. See you then:) We greatly appreciate you stopping by! The feed will go live at approximately 6:30pm. Click Here To Watch The Replay! We will start with ambient game sounds for the JV game and Scott will come on for play by play for the Varsity Game. Both Teams come into tonight's game at 3-1 and are tied for 2nd place. So there is quite a bit riding on tonight's outcome. The JV Frogs came out on top 29- 25. The varsity game should start at approximately 7:15pm. Argonaut takes it 54 -39.

Bear Valley, CA....Our 7 J3 racers, kids ages 13 and 14 years old, put in a solid showing at the Northstar GS on Jan 24-26. Arriving on Friday evening to pouring rain, Bear Valley's 7 J3 racers took on the Far West J3 field this past weekend at Northstar's J3 Wild West GS Qualifier. Ben Gilbert, Colin Glenday, Patrick Cooke, Shelby White, Mackenzie Comstock, Kendyl and Jordyn Colonias along with Coach John Colonias were all hoping for the end to the rain. Saturday morning brought more rain but a very welcome change in weather saw the first day of competition under cloudy skies, sunny periods and even occasional light snow.....

Copperopolis, CA....Rainy Skies, Slick Streets and an Icy Winds could not discourage Marathon Runners this weekend at the annual “Copper Run” held at Black Creek Park in Copperopolis, CA. While conditions may have been less than ideal for a ½ mile, 2 mile or 10k trek through the oak lined streets of Copper Cove, marathoners still managed to turn in incredibly low run times with surprisingly high spirits....

Bear Valley, CA...In another episode of online ski therapy. The Dr. of Skiology, Mike Davis, is in and ready for another session. This session is on tuning your skis. Are your skis carving well? Are your bases flat? Do your skis have a mind of their own and go darting out of line? Have you lost your edge? Want to get it back? How are your angles. These and many other pressing questions will be answered in over 1/2 hour of video on Ski Tuning filmed at the Bear Valley Sport Shop. Water Conditions: New Melones Lake is currently holding 1,152,655 acre-feet of water. Water level held steady this week, and is at 962 ft. above sea level and 126 ft. from full capacity. Water in the main lake is approximately 52-54 degrees. The lake has turned over. Water is slightly stained to clear in the main lake.....

Angels Camp, CA.....New basketball shoes $85, a basketball $25, making the winning shot ~Priceless. Thursday evening the seventh-grade boys basketball team at Mark Twain played against last years AMA champions, Jackson Elementary. The whole game was pretty much neck-to-neck until one player made the most important shot of the game. Twelve-year-old, Jaime Faull from Mark Twain made the winning shot with 1.8 seconds left in the game.....
