Mostly cloudy. At lower elevations, rain showers in the morning, then a chance of rain and snow showers in the afternoon. At higher elevations, rain and snow showers in the morning, then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 27 to 42 higher elevations...38 to 50 lower elevations. No snow accumulation lower elevations...2 to 4 inches higher elevations. Snow level 5500 feet. Prevailing southwest winds up to 15 mph with gusts to around 35 mph. Over ridges, prevailing southwest winds 15 to 30 mph decreasing to 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

3 Deaths & 174 New Covid Cases in Amador County |

Amador County, CA – Amador County Public Health confirms one hundred and seventy-four new cases of COVID-19 and 3 deaths due to COVID-19 since last Tuesday’s update. The individuals who passed were 1 male in his 70s and 2 females, 1 in her 80s and 1 in her 90s. The new cases include 73 males and 101 females, 17 children under the age of 18, 87 aged 18-49, 38 aged 50-64, 32 over 65 years of age; 52 residing in Ione, 47 living in Jackson, 18 living in Pine Grove, 12 in Pioneer, 14 in Plymouth/surrounding areas, 30 residing in Sutter Creek/Amador City, and 1 in Volcano. Twenty cases, including MCSP inmates, are currently hospitalized.

Only 17 New Covid Cases Reported in Tuolumne County Today |

Sonora, CA...Tuolumne County is reporting 14 new community cases and three Sierra Conservation Center inmate cases, for a total of 17 new cases today. All of the new community cases are asked to isolate at home. One hospitalized individual has been discharged and released from isolation and seven previously isolated individuals have been released from isolation. Two SCC inmates are still hospitalized although they are not reflected in the number of hospitalized in the Data Dashboard.

Arnold, CA...This highway information is the latest reported from Caltrans as of Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 07:10 AM. Currently Chain Controls are in effect on Hwy 4 starting 4.5 miles east of Arnold. On Hwy 88 you will need to chain up at Ham's Station. On Hwy 108 you will need traction aids east of Long Barn.

Amador County, CA – Amador County Public Health confirms one hundred and forty-nine new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths due to COVID-19 since last Tuesday’s update. The individuals who passed were 2 males, 1 in his 50s and 1 Mule Creek State Prison (MCSP) inmate in his 60s. MCSP inmates are not included in the total death tally on Amador’s dashboard. The new cases include 70 males and 79 females, 12 children under the age of 18, 75 aged 18-49, 29 aged 50-64, 33 over 65 years of age; 48 residing in Ione, 48 living in Jackson, 10 living in Pine Grove, 19 in Pioneer, 12 in Plymouth/surrounding areas, 9 residing in Sutter Creek/Amador City, and 3 in Volcano. Twenty one cases, including MCSP inmates, are currently hospitalized.
