Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 06/10/2008 12:02 AM
Arnold, CA.....Our community stepped up to bat for Matt on Sunday June 8th. The Day started with a Poker Run in Farmington ending in Arnold. At the same time, many friends and family got together and walked, strolled and even ran a 5k to show their support for Matthew McCullough and his family. After this everyone met at the Cedar Center for a BBQ, Silent auctions with lovely items donated by many local people and businesses, snacks, live music, a dunk tank and more. Matthew was busy playing with his many friends when we stopped by. He looked very good and quite happy. The Cedar Center in Arnold was packed with people showing their support for this lovely boy and his family.....

Murphys, CA...."Mainly, I like to have fun. Swimming is all about having fun, and I am firm believer that you should keep swimming as long as you are having fun, but I can say that it becomes much more fun as you get older and learn more about the sport, life, and especially more about yourself." ~Scott Goldblatt (National Champion) The Murphy’s Dolphins are putting on the suits for the 2008 swim season. Posted by: thepinetree on 06/10/2008 10:04 AM
San Andreas, CA...The Lake Tulloch item packed the gallery for today's meeting. Even New10 from Sacramento was here for the festivities. There was a couple of hours of back and forth from both side of this issue. Some of the property owners had numerous stories about overcrowded vacation rentals clogging the the tightly packed neighborhoods in the Poker Flat area with people, boats & SUVs. They would like to see short term rentals banned from their area. An even larger number of citizens testified at the meeting about the vital nature of the vacation rental business to our local economy. Testifying were not only real estate and property professionals from the Copperopolis area but Don Fry, Doug Shinn, Dan Sieder, Anna Gutierrez and others from around the county weighed in on the topic.... Great Seats Still Available for Ironstone Concert This Friday Night Featuring "Bob Weir & Rat Dog along with Gov't Mule!"

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/05/2008 01:24 PM

Murphys, CA....Bob Weir and Rat Dog along with Gov't Mule will rock Ironstone's Amphitheater this Friday evening! One of Bob Weir’s best-loved songs is “The Music Never Stopped.” It holds true, even in the 21st century. As a matter of fact, as the century goes along, it’s even truer. Even when his first band, the Grateful Dead, was playing close to 100 show yearly, Weir needed other outlets, and developed a solo career that began with albums like....

Copperopolis Homecoming Parade Was a Homerun!

Posted by: Kim_Hamilton on 06/09/2008 12:11 AM
Copperopolis, CA....We had the chance to attend the 2008 Copperopolis Homecoming Celebration, Charlie Stone Memorial Parade and Emergency Service Day on Saturday. It was quite impressive, as a matter of fact I would say a Homerun! The day started off with an all you can eat pancake breakfast with the Charlie Stone Memorial Parade following at 11am. There were 33 entrants in the grand parade. We have close to 200 photos and almost 40 minutes of video for your enjoyment. If you or someone you know was in the parade...chances are we have a photo. Supervisor Russ Thomas started things off with another great rendition of the Star Spangled Banner that was sung right in front of the huge "Old Glory" that E. Clampus Vitus brought to the parade...
