Fire Update..20 acre Fire near Milton & Sonora Roads

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/26/2013 09:05 AM
Milton, CA....Last evening air and ground crews held a vegetation fire off of Sonora Road and Milton Road to 20 acres. Sometimes fires in this area can grow to over 100 acres in seemingly just minutes. With the temps on the rise and "Summer" returning lets be careful out there. It will only take a day or so to remove the moisture from the grass and vegetation that our little storm system left behind...

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/26/2013 11:03 AM
Copperopolis, CA...The CCWD Rate Increase Road Show rolled into Copperopolis last night. It was another contentious meeting with the Rock Creek Park Community Room filled with ratepayers and citizens concerned with the proposed rate increases from the district. Above are some photos from last night. We didn't get the chance to record last night's meeting but the CCWD presentation was materially the same as the one in White Pines. So if you have not had the opportunity to review their case for a rate increase video of the White Pines Meeting is below...

Posted by: thepinetree on 06/23/2013 10:13 PM
