San Andreas Woman Loses Her Life In Accident Near Mokelumne Hill

Mokelumne Hill, CA...Connie Sullivan, 53 From San Andreas lost her life in an accident near Mokelumne Hill. The accident occurred at approximately 3:15pm and Sullivan was driving her 1991 Dodge in the southbound traffic lane of SR-49 at an unknown speed when, for an unknown reason, she allowed her vehicle to travel to the right and off the paved portion of the roadway. The Dodge traveled down the steep embankment and overturned. After the collision, it came to rest on its roof facing in an Easterly direction off the roadway, and down the embankment...

Rail Road Flat, CA...On 03/23/15 at about 2108hrs, The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department responded to Lakeside Mobile Home Park, in Rail Road Flat, for a reported stabbing. The victim was a 19 year old male who sustained multiple stab wounds on his chest, back, and side. The victim was conscious and alert upon deputies’ arrival. The victim was flown via air ambulance to an area hospital for treatment...
