- 45th Annual Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival
The 45th Annual ‘Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival’ will be held Sat. & Sun, September 2 & 3 - in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4.
Situated among the pines and redwoods, Arnold’s popular end-of-summer celebration features over 50 booths of original crafts & art of all kinds: Woodwork, metal sculpture, yard art, pottery, jewelry, quilts, chain-saw sculptures, soaps & spa essentials, fine art, clothing, scarves, dolls, birdhouses/feeders, fused glass plates & windchimes, hand-painted furniture, photography, kid’s toys, hats, purses, succulents, leather, – just to name a few! – ALL exhibited by the artists. There’s gourmet foods to sample and face painting & henna for the kids – or ‘adult’ kids.
Continuous shows of live country/swing music by “Homegrown” from Modesto and juggling performances are held in between both days.
The Ebbett’s Pass Volunteer Fire Dptm. always serves local Calaveras County beers, and a variety of home-made, hot prepared food booths, kettlekorn, pre-packaged foods of all kinds for you gourmet chefs, and baked goodies round out the deliciousness! The Ebbett’s Pass Lion’s Clubs holds their all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast of ham, eggs, & pancakes both days from 7:30 - 11:00 for only $8.
The Festival runs from 10am - 5pm each day on the park-like grounds around Bristol’s Ranch House Café in downtown Arnold (Formerly held at Cedar Center). The 45th Annual ‘Sierra Nevada Arts & Crafts Festival will be held over the Independence Day Weekend, July 1 & 2, in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold right on Highway 4.
Situated among the pines and redwoods, the Festival features over 60 booths of original crafts & art of all kinds: Woodwork, metal sculpture, yard art, pottery, jewelry, quilts, chain-saw sculptures, soaps & spa essentials, fine art, clothing, scarves, dolls, birdhouses/feeders, fused glass plates & windchimes, hand-painted furniture, photography, kid’s toys, hats, purses, succulents, leather, – just to name a few! – ALL exhibited by the artists. The annual Ebbett’s Pass Independence Day Parade will begin at 10am on Saturday, July 1, and it runs adjacent to the Festival on Hwy. 4. The Ebbett’s Pass Lion’s Club serves an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7:30am - 11am both days for just $8.
AND NEW TO THE SHOW! We’re proud to announce a new change in the Festival in our live musical entertainment to a popular group out of Murphys: ‘The Magnolia Rhythm Trio.’ These 3 women will have you ‘off your feet’ with their unique blend of Americana & Bluegrass harmonies! And they’ll be followed after each set with professional juggling for all.

The 39th Annual Spring Peddler’s Fair will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 27 & 28, in the beautiful mountain resort town of Arnold on Highway 4 (Ebbett’s Pass). Situated amongst the pines and redwoods at the 4000' elevation, the Peddler’s Faire features about 70 booths: Antiques, collectibles, original art & crafts, gourmet foods, & vintage jewelry are just a few of the range of items offered. - Twain Harte Chamber Chili Cook-Off
Twain Harte, CA...Join the Twain Harte Area Chamber for their first Memorial Day Weekend Chili Cook-Off! This event will be held in Meadow Plaza in Twain Harte on Saturday, May 27, from 9 am to 3 pm with kids’ activities at the nearby park.
Chili chefs should go to the Chamber website – www.twainhartecc.com – and pick up the application or call the chamber office at 209-586-4482. Cooking will start at 8 am with tasting beginning at 11:30 am. The chamber is also seeking vendors who wish to have booths at the event. Chamber members pay $12.50 and non-members booths are $25.
