Bret Harte Homecoming Photos By Jeff Rasmussen |

Angels Camp, CA....Bret Harte High School had a great Homecoming Day on Friday afternoon and evening. From the parade and rally down Main Street to the JV wining their game 27-14 over Amador, Haley Smoot being crowned Homecoming Queen all the wary to halftime when the Varsity Bullfrogs were tied with the very tough Amador Team it was a close to perfect day. The Bullfrogs slipped a bit in the second half and Amador rolled up some unanswered points to take the Varsity game. We would like to thank Jeff Rasmussen for another batch of great photos for the Bret Harte students and families to put in the memory books to relive Homecoming 2013 now and into the future.

Posted by: John_Hamilton on 09/17/2013 06:53 PM

Columbia, CA...Columbia College’s completely re-hauled website is expected to go-live on Monday, September 23. The College’s website is THE electronic face of Columbia College in terms of online access to programs and services, as well as introduction and relationship building with our audience of students, prospective students, and community. The website has the ability to engage students and prospective students before they step foot onto campus; or, in some cases, engage those who will have a solely on-line experience. Thus, upon conclusion of this project, the website will offer a more unified and modern appearance and will serve as the foundation for Columbia’s ever growing portfolio of online tools, services, information, and social media presence.

San Andreas, CA...Dear Generous Donor, "Amped Up" is a fundraising project geared toward acquiring a new sound system for our sports stadium complex at Calaveras High School in San Andreas. This antiquated system is in dire need of a makeover. The stadium is used for sports and special events such as Soccer, Football, Track and Field, Relay for Life, Every 15 Minutes, and Senior Graduation. It is important for everyone to be able to clearly hear the music, announcers, and special event speakers, however with our current system, it is almost impossible to understand anything being said or played over the system....

San Andreas, CA....On June 24, 2012 the Calaveras Unified School District Board of Trustees passed Resolution 2011/12-21 to initiate a change of our election system to a By-Trustee Area election commencing with the 2014 election. The County Committee on School District Organization approved CUSD’s resolution on September 24, 2012. The waiver was necessary to enable the Board to implement By-Trustee area elections in November 2014.
