San Andreas, CA...Meet Amber Rose, a beautiful orange tabby estimated to be about five years old. This darling girl was outgoing, playful and super-friendly when she first arrived at the shelter as a stray but in recent weeks has become increasingly shy and now takes her a while to warm up to new people. If you sit on the floor and talk softly, she will slowly approach and enjoy gentle pets, though she prefers to sit beside you rather than on your lap. It’s almost as if she is telling us, thanks for taking care of me but this is getting old and I’m really looking forward to meeting my new forever family or person – perhaps you?

Arnold, CA...My name is Caity Johnson and I have been sick for well over a year now and I'm on medical leave from my job. I get disability but it's only $100 every 2 weeks. I'm blessed to live with my family but we are struggling and my car payment every month is $320 and I'm driving back and forth to UC Davis every other week. On top of that I have a weekly therapy appointment 30 minutes away. I have Bipolar Disorder type 1 and generalized anxiety Disorder that is barely managed.

Difficult & Successful Rescue near Table Mountain |

Jamestown, CA...From TCFD..."Yesterday afternoon emergency crews were dispatched to the Grotto, a popular climbing spot on Table Mountain northwest of Jamestown. Apparently a boulder came loose injuring three hikers, one seriously, and two had moderate injuries. CAL FIRE TCU, TCFD, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, Tuolumne County Ambulance, and PHI Med 4-2 all responded.
