Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Clear and crispy cold here in Bear Valley at 5am after a great day on the hill yesterday Celebrating the Christmas Holiday. Conditions are superb as today the high will be around 41F, sunny and winds will be out of the North up to 11mph. The pattern for the rest of the week looks stellar with below avg temps keeping the snow in exceptional shape and clear sunny skies through the coming weekend. Surface gradients will tighten later in the week bringing some possible breezy condition come Thursday/Friday. Grab your Family and Friends and head on up to Bear Valley for some great times as we have the best conditions we’ve seen in some time. Hwy 4 is the easiest access to any resort on the Western Slope! As always we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun”.

Back in the early 90’s, when Shawn was selling out of the back of his truck as “The Eddy Mart”, the most important items to have on hand were life jackets, river shorts, sandals and river knives. Oh yes, and a few things the rafting customers would want, t-shirts, hats, sunscreen, etc. It became obvious that The Eddy Mart was getting too big to operate out of a garage when the whitewater kayaks came. It was time for a storefront. That’s when providence arrived on the scene.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Yesterday we picked about 4″ and 3-4″ overnight. The system trajectory over Bear Valley shifted and we picked up less than expected. Today looks to be a beautiful day with a possible snow shower or two and cool daytime highs around 25F. Clear weather is on tap through the week so Grab your Family and Friends and head on up to Bear Valley for some great times as we have the best conditions we’ve seen in some time. Bear Valley, CA...Paul Says: 12/25/18 - We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We received a nice gift from Santa tonight of 4 inches of snow. The skiing continues to be great and we are set for the season now. Tons of trails are open and we will open more with additional snowfall accumulation. Note: 12/25 Christmas Day Special Hours: Trails, Tubing & Sledding open 9am to 2pm, store & gas station open 9am to 2:30pm, Meadow Cafe closed.
