San Andreas, CA...The annual Calaveras County “Drop the Drugs” event is coming up on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10am-2pm. There will be two locations; The Calaveras County Office of Education, 185 South Main Street, Angels Camp and the Toyon Middle School, on Highway 12 between San Andreas and Valley Springs.

After enduring the many months of no performances, dancers are once again able to share their love for dance with their audience. Seating will be limited to ensure compliance with current county guidelines.

Each meal comes with a half slab of mouthwatering delicious BBQ pork ribs, a corn on the cob, coleslaw and, homemade cornbread. There will be music while you wait in your vehicle for a dinner that hits the spot! Raffle tickets are available onsite for $10! $20 million Available for Shovel-Ready Forest & Wildfire Resilience Projects in Sierra Nevada

Auburn, CA...The Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC), a California state agency, announced the availability of $20 million dollars for the implementation of shovel-ready forest health projects in the region. The Immediate Action Wildfire and Forest Resilience directed grant program was made possible by an early action wildfire and forest resilience budget approved by the legislature and the Governor earlier today. The early action budget includes $20 million for the SNC and is part of a $1-billion forest and wildfire resilience funding proposal under consideration by state leaders.
