Angels Camp, CA...Lynn Downey – “The Fascinating and Sometimes Hilarious History of the Dude Ranch.” Lynn is the former Historian for Levi Strauss & Co. and lectured at the museum back in 2017. Lynn refers to her new book, American Dude Ranch: A Touch of the Cowboy and the Thrill of the West. Movies, food, women’s history, clothing: all of these have a history with the Dude Ranches of old. Vatican City...Pope Francis celebrates Mass with 100,000 faithful, united in the joy of Easter and in the message of peace brought by the risen Jesus. On Sunday, the celebration of Easter Mass in a crowded, sunlit St Peter's Square began with the rite of "Resurrexit" on the parvis of the square decorated with 40,000 flowers brought from Holland.

Arnold, CA...Detailed forecast from the National Weather Service for West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada. Today Mostly cloudy in the morning then clearing. At higher elevations, patchy dense fog early in the morning, a chance of rain and snow showers in the morning. At lower elevations, a chance of rain showers in the morning, patchy dense fog until late afternoon. Not as cool. Highs 36 to 51 higher elevations... 48 to 62 lower elevations. Snow level 5500 feet in the morning. Prevailing south winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.
