Taking place on April 27th, 2019 at Ironstone Vineyards, this cherished event showcases the food, wine and art from our incredibly county. Guests will receive a commemorative wine glass, and tastings from 25+ local restaurants and wineries all under one roof. Calaveras artists and crafters will displaying and selling their work along with live music from local musician Nicholas Lefler, a silent auction and demonstrations.

This annual meeting is a great way to raise awareness of wildfire risks in our area and how to mitigate that risk and be prepared in case a fire does threaten our area.

Enjoy a day in Murphys and leave the driving to Calaveras Transit! Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Bear Valley, CA....As the bull-wheels came to a stop and the end of the 18-19 winter season came to a close we stopped by Bear Valley. It was a great season with almost 500 inches of snow that will feed our streams and lakes and make this summer a great one. Now the race is on to get the passes open as soon as possible for the summer. Below is a bit of video from just after closing time yesterday. After stopping at Bear Valley we headed to the closure point on Hwy 4.
