Copperopolis, CA.....CHP is reporting a Collision with Ambulance Responding at O'Byrnes Ferry Road at Black Creek Drive. We are unsure if there are any injuries at this time. More to come if needed. Just spoke with Officer Castillo at CHP, they are just arriving on scene. Will keep you posted if needed.

Lee Wilson turned himself in at the Calaveras County Jail Monday, September 8th, morning. Wilson was wanted for shooting his brother Jimmy Wilson during a birthday party at a residence in Avery. Lee Wilson was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and is being held at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $235,000 bail....

71 Year Old Male Suffers Moderate Injuries in Solo Motorcycle Collision Monday Eve

Lake Alpine, CA....A 71 year old male of Magalia, CA. suffered moderate injuries last evening while traveling east of Lake Alpine at a speed of 25-30mph. He then allowed his motorcycle to travel off of the roadway then striking several large rocks, he then was ejected from the motorcycle. He suffered injuries to his head, shoulders and ribs. He was medi-flighted to Sutter Roseville Hospital. CHP release enclosed.....

On September 9, 2008 at approximately midnight, Sheriff Jim Mele, driving an unmarked unit in the area of the Stent Cutoff in Jamestown, was following a black 1986 Chevy Camaro that was being driven erratically. The Sheriff suspected the driver of driving while intoxicated so he contacted Dispatch—this in order to get assistance from a marked unit so a stop could be attempted. (We do not typically use unmarked units to make vehicle stops when marked units are available.)....

West Point, CA...Two West Point Firefighters were responding to a medical aid when the accident occurred. They were driving Northbound on Railroad Flat Road North of Buzzard Mine Road with Code 3 equipment operation. The Driver looked down briefly to adjust the communications radio and ran off the roadway on the East Side...

CHP is reporting a collision with ambulance responding at Hey 49 and Mokelumne River. A vehicle is apparently 30 feet off of the roadway and down a hill. We will keep you posted as needed. Please use caution in the area.

Scam Alert and Sheriff's Logs Have Been Updated

San Andreas, CA...We received a call from a viewer in Mountain Ranch of a potential SCAM going around. The person calling will pretend to be an old friend who needs money. In this instance her "friend" had lost his bag with all of his money in it in Chicago. He wanted her to send him money. She thought it was a scam but she played along and when she said she didn't have the cash to send he asked if she had a credit card. The caller pretended to be her old friend "Gary". So be suspicious of callers asking for money. Even when they are "Old Friends." She let us know just in case the callers are working a block of local numbers. Our Sheriff's Log Archive...

Breaking News...Body Found in Frog Jump Plaza Tonight (Friday AM Update)

Angels Camp, CA...(Friday AM Update. A short press release was issued by the Angels Camp Police Department that restated what was known from being at the scene last night. A man was discovered deceased in the parking lot of Frog Jump Plaza due to a single gunshot wound in an apparent suicide. Notification of relatives is still ongoing) A body has been found in a white pickup in the Frog Jump Plaza in Angels Camp. Initial indications are that the deceased died of an apparent suicide. This may change as law enforcement officials can comment....
