SACRAMENTO – The Contractors State License Board’s (CSLB) fall “California Blitz” puts a glaring spotlight on the importance of making sure contractors are properly licensed before allowing them into your home. A total of 111 suspected unlicensed contractors were arrested during the two-day statewide undercover operation on October 20 and 21, 2010. Three of those arrested, including a convicted sex offender, went to jail.....

Tuolumne County, CA....Emergency crews have been on scene to what appears to be a traffic accident at Hwy 120 and FR 1N07 in the Cherry Lake area. They are sending a helicopter down to the canyon area to retrieve an injured party. More to follow as we receive. Update: Patient was rescued successfully and transported to a Modesto Hospital. Jamestown, CA...Just before three o’clock this morning, Deputy Ben Christiansen noticed a vehicle parked in front of the coin operated car wash in Jamestown. Knowing the money changing machine at the car wash and the saw shop nearby are frequent targets for burglars, Christiansen pulled in behind the vehicle and made contact with the driver and a passenger. Contractor with Revoked License Arrested on Multiple Charges Suspect continued putting consumers at risk after license was taken away

SACRAMENTO – A former licensed contractor whose state license was taken away this spring has been arrested and now faces several felony and misdemeanor charges associated with contracting with a revoked license and failure to carry workers’ compensation insurance. Brian Gross, 55, is taken into custody by investigators from the Contractors State License Board and Amador County District Attorney’s Office on October 1, 2010. The housing ceremony inaugurates our new engine by pumping water from the retiring engine into the new one and having the assembled crowd wash the tires (Have to keep those floors clean!) and push the new engine back into it's bay.......

Colorado Man Arrested in Angels Camp for Lewd Acts with a Minor

Angels Camp, CA....On 10-04-10, at approximately 8:30 PM, an officer from the Angels Camp Police Department was dispatched to the Wyndham Resorts in the Greenhorn Creek area. The initial call was for a disturbance involving an employee and a possible trespasser at the resort.
